Engaged!
Ross and I have known each other since we were 7 years old. We grew up together and now we are getting married April 19, 2008 in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple. We are so excited to start our life together! We are having a reception in Utah on the 19th at the Alpine Art Center, and another in Richmond, Virginia on the 26th. If you are able to come to the receptions, we would love to see you!

well, triest, i am sooo happy to hear from you! i was worried that austin the animal and i had scared off you and ross after our last lunch! i could have slapped that kid! he is sooo irreverant and i am sure we probably took ross for a loop! in any case, i will try and clean up my act when i see you next, hopefully for your reception! i didn't think my corner of cyberspace was being read by anyone, so it was shocking to find that you and maddy found it. sorry if i offend anyone with language...you know me!

triest, i posted a video on my blog that you might have fun watching. i made it 2 summers ago after pam and i went on the "thelma and louise go on vacation" trip to new mexico and colorado with linda and her husband chuck. we were honoring our turning 50. pam is about to become a grandma, and chuck and linda are retiring from 30+ years in the park service (they are in carlsbad nm now where he is the assistant super at the caverns. moving to asheville, nc it seems)...and i, well, i am still holding down the fort in mechanicsville hoping for a great lottery ticket or my son becoming the famous baseball player (yeah,right, dream on, old goat...)
